Old Faceful
Just a sweet, misunderstood, largely harmless geyser. | |
The crowd draws closer, expectations rising, as a deep
subterranean rumbling rises from the earth.
Children, barely able to constrain their excitement,
strain
against the grip of cautious parents.
Suddenly, a massive out-pouring of marshmallow gushes
from the mouth of a wide hole in the
ground, showering
everyone in the vicinity with gobbets of sweet, sticky
goodness.
Other eruptions include, but are not limited to, Skittles,
jellybeans, aniseed balls (for the occasional practical
joke), barley sugar, chocolate truffles, custard and
peanut butter cups.
If we build it, you will come... you know you will.

Er, shouldn't that be Old Cornucopia? |

Depends upon whether you stuff your face or not, I
guess. |

Can there be another one next door that drenches you with skin permeable insulin and insect repellant? |

Does anyone seriously like marshmallow (the confection, not the plant)? For me, it's the epitome of bland, almost the confectionery equivalent of celery, except celery has the saving graces of texture and flavour. |

Marshmallow is surely the ambrosia of a god or two,
somewhere. |

Custard was one of the standard inclusions, [8th], as
it is with everything on the HB. |
