Everyone knowns that inscets are a great source of protien, and eaten all over the world. And gum, is a great long lasting chewing candy which keeps your mouth occupied for hours on end. I propose combing the 2 into one great product. Specially breed insect larval which are touch as say rubber, but still
chewable. They could be soaked in flavoring to imbude them with flavor, and colored too!
Pros:
-long lasting if breed to correct texture/consistency
-easy to grow
-cheap and plentiful if domesticated
-high in protien
Cons:
-westerns dont like to eat bugs
Well whatcha think?

I think the fact that there are four negative votes (as at this time) and no comments pretty much sums this one up. |

Yes, this is an excellent idea, but I think it would be difficult to create the bug that is chewy enough. I wish you well in discovering such, however. |

As a colouring you could use cochineal which is ground-up bugs anyway (I think they call it "Sunset Red"). |

The practice of chewing gum is a deal breaker cosmetically, so while some might endorse this, cows and cuds don't work for me. |

What lets this idea down is the spelling. And also
the idea. |
