Nosehair Floss
genetically altered accelerated growth nosehair solves bad breath and cavity problems. | |
Alter a single nose hair to grow about 1-meter overnight.
The nose hair will be used to floss teeth and then cut away, saving on floss and floss packaging. It would also reduce plaque build up.
If there is no stimulation to the root as a result of flossing, the hair changes to a flourescent
color and grows faster during the day, warning away would-be victims of bad breath.
Plucking the hair would result in an ingrown flossing nosehair; it would work its way into the back of the throat and have to be surgically removed.

[2fsoahm]With the possibilities offered by genetic research, namely the current effort to allow the cloning of human organs, suddenly it may not be necessary to medicate portions of the body as we traditionally have. |
|
|
Besides the heroic possibilities of replacement of spinal tissue, the more immediate effect of the cloning would be to allow testing of treatment on human body parts with out an associated entity, for the purposes of making more medicines and procedures that we can go out and buy. There is also the possibility of cloning hearts, spinal tissue, liver, teeth to solve all those problems with the degree to which our body is not suited to our environment. |
|
|
All the above create even more medical treatment. Alternative to this would be to engineer hairs, tissues, etc. in a way that aids the maintenance of the body, rather than more body parts to fix and more medicine to take. Nosehair Floss would engrain tooth preservation into our lives. |

No more buying floss, no more bad breath, maybe not even dentures. |

|
[pb]or at night you could use it to communicate with partner in ritual nosehair embrace :] |

Tie a nosehair around your finger to remind yourself to floss... |
