An open frame head cage with comfy skull standoffs, the Napping Helmet is an alternative to the pillow, that works on any sleeping or resting surface: bed, sofa, desk, etc. Some of the many advantages include:

- more ventilation for the entire head;
- easily cleanable: just toss the attachment pads into the wash;
- custom fit guarantees that the spine remains straight no matter what the resting position: side, back, front;
- no "bedhead" hairstyle.

As well as Regular, there's a folding Travel model, and the Ultimate with USB audio for noise-cancellation and sleep-learning.

Lightblocker overlay sold separately.

       Could it have spring out supports that go on the shoulders to prevent crick in neck? Got off a long haul flight once and couldn't turn my head for 4 hours, which meant the meeting I attended was a little awkward.

       And ultimate de luxe, a cast of your own face, with fake eyes that blink and pretend to be looking at whatever is on the screen for snoozing at work.

       Good idea - could probably work that into the design, to make it an (uncertified) neckbrace.
