Baldness, natural or artificially-induced, has always been a fashion statement in itself, but there's not much you could do with it.

Until now.

Adhesive bases allow for quite a cranial feng shui using life-sized foam-rubber fungi: anything from a solitary toadstool to a multi-variety bouquet.

Well, there's a hell of a difference in fashion statements between psilocybin and shitaki...

Would this not look like the glans (or tip) of my favorite organ, perched atop the head?

I have no use for this, but I love the idea. A bald head has always seemed to be a blank canvas, waiting for a masterpiece. The idea of mushrooms would allow for a single, large cap with gills, a large cap, gills and a stalk to raise it above the head or a garden of smaller mushrooms covering all. [+]

[21Quest} The post is about sticking fake mushrooms onto bald spots in interesting patterns, not floppy knitted hats.

Go to the store or a nearby field and choose some mushrooms. Remove head hair by applying a sharp razor or open flame. Glue a few mushrooms to the top of your head. Report back.

I have a cousin who is a mushroom head, but we don't like to talk about her much.

I think I'd worry attracting Italian plumbers attempting to jump on my head.

Hmm, thankyou but my fault: the post left plenty of room for the One Large Mushroom interpretation... and a quick reperusal of the annos shows plenty of support for that.

You could use a giant mushroom from a species of giant mushrooms of course, though the attachment point would be the stalk.

More like flower-arrangements with reusable foam mushrooms on a medium-sized rock instead of flowers in a vase.

       (explanatory paragraph in the works)

+ OK, it's weird enough to be halfbaked, but I really dislike the pun.

There's something green and slimy growing behind my ears - does that count...?
