Mood bun

Just a little "food" coloring.

Remember mood rings? Those things that changed color according to "mood" (actually temperature).

I propose a color changing croissant that would occasionally pop up to alert the user to the current "mood" of the bakery. This could be done by just counting up bread vs. fish on current ideas.

Lots of bread, few fish -- good mood, bright color. Lots of fish, not too many croissants -- bad mood, dark, drab color.

You get the idea.

I realize that I'm flirting with an M-F-D for redundant on this one since fishrat's idea (which I had not noticed prior to posting this one incidentally) mentions a color changing background. This one, however, is for a color changing croissant... I'll leave it up for a while longer I think.

Too bad the mood stuff isn't edible. It would be fun to see people's skin change color to indicate their mood.

[+] especially if the number that being used to measure the mood was available as an RSS "variable".

That way you could still monitor the mood if you didn't have time to read HB that day....

//Remember mood rings? // My wife had one. When she was in a good mood, it was green. When she was in a bad mood, it left a red mark on my forehead.

When the Halfbakery is visibly in a bad mood, nobody will post, and the mood will stay bad. Or maybe just the twits will stay away, which will make the mood better. Or maybe just the twits will post, making things worse. I really don't see what good this would serve. [No vote]

       A happy bun for you!

       What color would ambivalent be?

       anno from 'HB mood':

Perhaps having the croissant icon in the top left change its state instead of the whole back ground. I do so love the sterile white/black face of 'bakery!

Good grief! That's what I get for posting in a hurry.
