When getting replacement teeth why not offer a time saving solution? Why provide the gaps in the teeth when they only can be filled with food? Instead offer a single monotooth that provides a single, smooth biting surface. It would be like regular teeth, except completely connected.
Some advantages
would be easy cleaning. With a smooth uniform surface you could use a squeegee, instead of a toothbrush. You would also be able to make perfectly circular bites in a sandwich.

It would also appear to minimize nail-biting and teeth grinding at the cost of causing enormous difficulty with corn-on-the-cob, and dealing with the manipulation of seeds such as sunflower, watermelon, cherry, etc., and small bones in meat and fish. I suppose if you were fully dentured, you could choose the set of teeth for the task. |

I was about to post this self same idea. Monoteeth could be
offered when installing dental implants. If not all the teeth
are replaced at once, no problem. Progressively wider
gapless teeth can be fitted onto the existing titanium pegs
each time a new peg is installated, culminating in a single
ubertooth in each jaw. |
