After 30 yrs old, stop by this administered medical facility every 6 months-year for about ten minutes and walk into the closet. Strip down down to your undies, stand still and say cheese for 15 seconds while dozens of high resolution digital cameras take snapshots of your skin. The computer notifies
you of any new or changing moles or other abnormalities you might want to get checked out.

Or, once every 5 years, try the deluxe version, which performs a full-body MRI scan. |
Yes! This would be good.[+] |

Quite smart, this idea is quite smart. [leinypoo13]
have you thought of developing this idea/concept
further? |
Very proactive. Where's [bungston]? They are always
onto new medical ideas here, I think. |
I would be surprised if this is not in the works as something
similar exists in New Zealand (if you follow the annos in juttas
link). Another idea could be home medical closets with dr.
videoconferencing, this being one of the features. |

// a full-body MRI scan // |

Can an MRI differentially diagnose a melanoma ? |
Some melanomas are very aggressive. Five years might be too long an interval to preempt metastasis. |
//Can an MRI differentially diagnose a melanoma ? // I doubt
if an MRI would be nearly as effective as a skin inspection,
and would need very skilled interpretation. |

I'm thinking melodrama closets as well. You step inside and throw a hissy fit, which is recorded for future comparison. |
Alternatively, a megalomania closet would have royal robes and mirrors. |
I like this idea especially since those blooddrinking dermatologists could be cut out of the loop. The images instead would be uploaded to a wikipedialike internet site where volunteers carefully examine the pictures, note changes, and offer constructive criticism about moles and other matters. |

What did I say. That [bungston] is always on the
cutting edge of medical suggestions, and this is no
exception. |
I fear that this idea has already probably been
snatched away from us, and some lucky dermo, is
probably already baking it as we speak. |
