Ever got your car back from the mechanic and been suspicious
about where they looked and if parts have been changed.?
Spray your engine with a UV liquid before then a UV lamp will
show
which parts have been changed and where hands have adjusted
areas.

Once the mechanics catch on, auto shops will start to take on a massage parlor appearance as they put their hands all over everything (and charge extra for it). |

I think you need a different massage parlor... |

Even when they put the old parts in the boot (common
practice in you area?), I'm still suspicious and look for the
changes in dust and so on. This is a very sneaky idea. Won't
they get a surprise when they look for a coolant leak! |

yes, 21quest when i contest being overcharged for repairs to an indicator i frequently strip my engine to the short block to verify if they also elected to do major unrequested and unpaid engine molestation. if i don't check this i can't sleep at night, those fingerprints on the head gasket must be cleaned off. Sometimes I have to check the pintles on my fuel injectors lest some sneaky person has touched them while my car was parked downtown. |
