Meat Beer
A beer with the flavor of a good steak or hamburger. | |
You may have eaten at a Steak and Ale. Well, why not have both at the same time? With Meat Beer, you can. Liquify the steak, mix it with the beer, and you'll have dinner in a glass, a beer with the chunky residue of a steak floating to the surface. The varieties will include: Bacon Cheesburger Lager
and Hamburger Helper Ale.

I know you're going to think I'm making this up, because I have no reference for it, but in Tudor times (that's 16th century-ish) there used to be something called 'cock ale'. While the ale was fermenting, you had a piece of chicken in the pot with it. No, I don't know why. |

Baked. I have a friend who labeled Guinness as "Pork Chop in a Bottle." |

aw, I thought you'd be making beer from fermented meat. How high does blood sugar content get anyway? |

I made a variant of this back in my homebrewing -- and braver -- days; it made a very good, strong, and surprisingly clear ale. No trace of chickeny flavours, although the raisins came through quite strongly. |

Meat Beer. Let me think about that for just a second. I might be lazy, but who needs BOTH in the same glass? |

"I'm all hungry AND thirsty, but I can't be going and dirtying up who KNOWS how many glasses and plates. Forks and spoons, too. Hmmm, maybe I'll have a quick Meat Beer." |

Why not throw a few potatoes in there and have the whole meal in a can? Meat and Potatoes Lager? |

Only if it's imported from Canada |

Make soup with beer instead of water, and put it it a can? |

There's always carrots in my vomit, even though i never remember eating carrots. Hang on . . I vaguely recall drinking a few of the lamb stew lagers. |
