Possibly take an enemy to loyal pet, or food source. Yep, you guessed, the conversion expand the virus to more easy to handle.

Working hand in hand with a renowned lab (link) etc

       Detailed, clear and very practical

Gibberish - Trump would probably understand it, but no normal person would.

[n_m_rm], if you want to enter the annual [wjt] prize competition for incomprehensible incoherent impenitrability, you'll have to fill in a form and send it in, either via the website or by post.

Then again, at least it's not in Other:[gene .... oh, wait ...

But what if the conversion DOESN'T blows the virus to more easy to handle?

No, [Voice], just marked-for-explanation, or indeed marked-for-comprehensibility ...

Don't know what your problem is, seems perfectly clear to me
pocmloc, Oct 10 2020

That's consistent, coming from the 'baker who posted "Tentacle living" ...

Ho hum, does this make sense now?
not_morrison_rm, Oct 10 2020

I think so. It's a cryptic, almost encoded "Man vs big virus as seen in Muppet show. Take a virus and make it big to convert it to a pet or something to eat and make it easier to handle."

       Yes? What do I win?

Although I'm teasing, I want to make sure you're not having a stroke. Everything OK? Maybe just a few pints too many? I've certainly been there.

Basically, I have a connection which is very cranky
not_morrison_rm, Oct 10 2020

       Long as you're OK.
doctorremulac3, Oct 10 2020

I'm afraid some people still think the "mano"s in "mano a mano" mean "man". That doesn't help.

Do we need the John Cleese centurion to deliver a Latin lesson at this point?
pertinax, Oct 11 2020

Blows is my confusion word in my atempt to understand. Thanks [doc]. The petri dish entity didn't exactly blow.

Mano doesn't mean presidential child does it?
wjt, Oct 11 2020

I was thinking “blows” might be a short form of “blows up” but I’m just guessing.

I think this might be a “meaning puzzle” which is actually kind of interesting.
doctorremulac3, Oct 11 2020

Yes, expand is what I was to say
not_morrison_rm, Oct 11 2020

OK, I think I get this now. For bun interest up by think talk guessing. [+]

By the way, the Muppet video with the laugh track in the background makes me wonder if we could substitute any noise, like a car horn or Pavlovian bell to tell the audience it's time to laugh. Not to cap on your post NM, (which has actually generated a lot of interest) just never been a fan of the Muppets.
