Needed: an in-ground swimming pool with a diving board and a nighttime pool party.
Construct a convincing aerial nighttime view of Manhattan from the divers viewpoint. It should be from helicopter range. This could be done with mosaic tile inlays, LED lighting, underwater screens, etc and accented
with the landscape lighting.
The intent is for it to appear that the pool is a hole in the ground hovering over Manhattan.

I think it's a form of decoration for a conventional swimming pool... a bit like [django]'s scary bird idea, but more feel-good. [+] |

[xenzag] Yes. thanks for the link. Very cool.
I was thinking that but maybe with some lighting that [at night] could be controlled to give the illusion of traffic below or some activity, maybe the perspectiv is such that the tip of a spire actually comes up from the [shallow] end. That and a couple of mojitos, and you got vertigo. |

Once a couple of mojitos was all I had, and I still got vertigo. |
