Tired of your glasses sliding down your nose? Worn out from constant eyewear up-pushing? You need magnetical spectacles!
Two tiny neodymium magnets are implanted under your skin, attached securely to the sides of the nasal bones. Similar magnets are installed in the nose pads of your glasses. When
you put your specs on, they snap into place and stay where they belong.

Would one magnet implanted between your eyes do the trick? (I have a lousy sense of direction and have wondered if I could train myself to sense "North" from an implanted magnet.) |

I solved the problem by getting titanium frames, polycarbonate lenses and good silicone rubber nose pads and making adjustments to the ear pieces. Having very little mass and weight, and fitting properly, mine rarely try to slide anywhere. Well, except for the time I rounded a corner a little too quickly and they slid off the dash and out the passenger window of the car. |

I always liked the idea of getting both eyebrows pierced and then hanging two lenses over my eyes via a set of chains running between the piecings. Although they might flap awkwardly against your eyeballs while running for a bus or something. |

Hasn't this been suggested before? I could've sworn this has been mentioned--possibly shortly after the first Matrix movie, in reference to Morpheus' shades. |

Yay! Gnu word = Magnetical. |

We discussed this before somewhere, but I can't find it. I think it might have been under one of the other implanted magnet ideas, which I can't find either. So I'm going to go out on a limb and lay the blame at waugsqueke's door. |

Imagine undergoing a body scan and these things rip through your flesh and imbed themselves in the machine. |

I just like having an excuse to say "neodymium". +. |

I prefer the Opti-Grab®.

Will it make my eyes go crossed? Will it make me bi-polar? |
