I think there should be a network of outdated software like Windows 3.1 and of course ALL the Lemmings games. Obviously MS is not going to make another penny off of Windows 3.1, so why not make it freeware? By the way, where can I get MS Bob? (Just for old time sake)

I was imagining it to be some kind of l33t interpretation of 3.1 - but lo! I was wrong. Looks as though Bob was the precursor to the bastard Paperclip and his over-cute, invasive pals. [zen_tom, Oct 04 2006]

Perhaps someone can tell me if the following is a rumor, or if it's true.

Supposedly, when opening up a password-protected document, Bob would ask the user for the password, but if the user got it wrong consistently Bob would put up a handy dialog box, "You seem to have forgotten your password. It is "fisbin". Please remember it."

       True or rumor?

// By the way, where can I get MS Bob? //

2 copies on ebay at the moment.

Not much of an idea... "outdated and obsolete software should still be available." Why? Well I want them to bring back Tide clothes detergent the way it was before the last two 'new and improved"s. And the '77 Yankees... they should be back too. Isn't this fun?

Not original anyway. Search the net and you'll find compatriots.

[Mr Burns], I have a copy of Rogue. Email me if you want it. If you don't, don't.
