Lox gel fuel

A use for Canada's salmon surplus

Lox is pulped into a gel and used as a semiliquid fuel.

You could use it to fill little oil lamps, giving off lovely roasting fish smell to accompany the gentle romantic light.

It would also be useful as a handy sandwich spread.
