Desktop wallpaper that looks like a lava lamp with soothing colors that gently melt and ooze throughout the day. Or you could have another plug-in for it that has the look of a oil projection lamp with pretty colors and bright lumps of vibrant shimmiring luminosity. You get the idea... it's proably allready out there, but if not..somebody build it. Instead of static pictures or patterns something more creative should color the computers desktop.

       Monty Python's 'Desktop Pythonizer' gave you 'living wallpaper', animated and occasionally interactive wallpaper behind the icons.   

       "View as webpage" in Windows will allow you to use animated gifs, although it clunks the computer somethin' abooraxly. <I once set someone's system to use a small animated rotating ball as the tiled background. It took him five minutes to open the display properties to kill it...>
