Leggos
Interlocking waffles for breakfast fun! | |
Leggos are small waffles that resemble Lego blocks. Like Legos, one side has raised bumps while the other has indentations that allow the blocks to lock together.
Leggos come packaged in kits that can be built to resemble replicas of famous buildings or inventions, in different skill levels for
children of all ages.
To cook Leggos, simply spread them out on a sheet pan, and bake at 400 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes.
Leggos are indeed fuel for the brain. Available in your grocer's freezer.

Edible lego, what a great idea!
Here have a croissant to go with it.
Would they
come
in different colours? Could we also have little edible lego
people to bite the head off of? |
Nice. But Stickle Bricks might be more appropriate. |
Lego + Eggo = Leggo = Croissant |
There are edible toy bricks, but they're candy, not waffles. (I think waffles would be much tastier.) |
There have to be custom waffle molds somewhere in the universe, but I'm can't find them. |
I am reminded of the guy who invented modern running shoes, who broke hundreds of waffle irons experimenting with different rubber mixtures. And then made an absolute fortune. |
So take out your mothers' waffle iron and experiment. Fame and fortune surely follow. |
Hey! My idea! (As posted in "Standardized Airline Luggage.") |
You get a fishead from me. I love it, but I have one question.
WHERE DO YOU PUT THE SYRUP?
And don't tell me to 'dip,' either... |
Guncrazy: I honestly didn't see it until you pointed it out. Since it is fundamentally the same idea, I will delete this if you want. When I searched for "Leggos", the description of the search seemed way out of context (airline luggage?) for waffles, so I assumed it was a typo and did not read it. |
It was a good idea, why didn't you post it when you thought of it then? |
Hm. I get the pun but I don't think a waffle texture is going to work. You'd be better off to go with a candy approach, like ju-jube lego pieces. |
MmmmMmMmmm - maple syrup cement.... |
MmmNmmmMm - waffle house..... |
Yes- adhere with syrup, lubricate moving parts with butter, etc.. |
[m-f-d] Guncrazy deserves credit for this idea. |
Nah, don't MFD it. Great minds think alike. And on rare occasions, even not-so-great minds think like mine. |
[un-m-f-d] Guncrazy approves. |
in Basic terms. If I can eat it AND play with it.. it gets a Croissant! good work have a non Lego enabled Bready product from me sans syrup *smile* |
Side note: Leggo's is a reknown brand of pasta sauces here Down Under. They come in yohgurt-type containers, or glass jars, indented for easy stacking. |
Its more of a lunch/dinner thing than breakfast...*G* |
Yeah, but can ya build castles 'n stuff with pasta sauces?
<Obligatory answer to own question post>Nope</Obligatory answer to own question post> This idea is so good, even the Autoboner hasn't boned it. |
Hmm... why not have interlocking Gingerbread House pieces, while we're at it? |
Cereal, snacks of all description... |
Your idea has been fulfilled. |
They just need to make red, blue, green, and other color . . . um, brikkles? Wafflicks? |
Somehow I don't think I'll be seeing any royalty checks from this. |
LET GO MY LEGGO! I will bun this one but shucks.. kids play with their food too much as it is. Now we are going to give them more of an incentive? |
This idea is making me really hungry! Have a croissant...mmmmmm croissant. |

So, not a new plug'n'play operating system? |
