Imagine this: blue jeans, formerly reserved for all but the rowdiest of cowboys and ruffians, balanced out by the soulful warmth of what topological experts are now calling a "t-shirt". A fitted cotton garb that I believe has the potential to clothe humans in our truest form. Excellent pockets, easy
to launder and repair, and allows for free movement without compromising on protection, jeans-and-a-t-shirt is undeniably the perfect result of years of careful experimentation.
I don't care what anyone says, it's never been done before. This is a completely new and original and haute couture stroke of brilliance that combines modern convenience with rugged practicality. It will herald a new dawn of avant garde fashion. You may have knock-offs that might appear similar to a glance from an undiscerning oaf, but anyone can see it is clearly jeans AND a t-shirt not jeans-and-a-t-shirt. By combining the two articles into one we transcend their previous mundanity. Jeans-and-a-t-shirt is the future of textiles.

Ok Mr knowitall, how do you get into this amazing onesie? |
You do realize you could make a prototype by just sewing two off the shelf garments together, make a Kickstarter for it and at the very least have one of the most interesting or entertaining group funding projects in history right? |
This could be a simple weekend project. You should to it. Might need to address using the restroom though, but probably not much more of a hassle than wearing overalls. Maybe point out you won't need a belt. [+] |

Put the soft cotton on the bottom as the pants and the denim material on as the shirt. |
What? I still have to don my own socks?! ugh |
No I presume the underpants, socks and shoes are all integral. |

In typical jeans there is a seam that runs down the inside of each leg, the inseam, appropriately. This could hide a zipper that when unzipped could provide a hole big enough to stick your head and shoulders in. |
I'm not sure that I fold that way. Is the head hole large enough for my bum? |
It hasn't been done because it's impractical and has no reason to happen. (sigh) [+] |
A zipper along the inseam? Ouch, bro! |

OK, imagine a zipper that goes from the inside jeans seam
down at your left ankle all the way up to the crotch and back down to your right ankle. Fully unzipped, the legs and crotch are open and look more like flaps of jean material. You would bend forward, put your head through the now-huge gap where your crotch will eventually sit, pull the garment over your head, arms and head in respective shirt openings, pull the garment down around your waist and finally rezip the long zipper to reseal the crotch and reform the leg tubes. Voila! A onesie. |
Whatrock, surely that would chafe something fierce! |
I still don't see how this monster crotch zip allows socks and shoes to be incorporated into this monster garment. |
Imagine a joke being dissected into tiny smitherines never to be heard from again... |
Or snaps, the easier to change your nappy. |
Isn't this just a short sleeved boiler suit? Maybe boiler suits are unknown in the colonies? (see link) |
Also a boiler suit is normally baggy to be worn over normal garments. This one seems form-fitting to be worn on its own. |
Also you can get long sleeved T shirts. |
Have a look at the image... |
Mmm I see what you mean, though I'm not entirely sure the main target market of that particular online shop is boiler fitters. At the very least she should cover her hair and wear proper steel toe cap boots. |
