Interesting phrase generator.

A device with millions of interesting phrases programmed into it, which it spits out randomly.

Has anyone else noticed the interesting comments under "halfbakery" on the top left hand corner of this page? I propose that somebody build these into everyday devices, such as cell phones and mp3 players.
I would buy it.

After some thought, i realised that i can probibly do this myself, and if my tiny programming expertise fails me, I can make my brother do it.

Andrew: you will find this has been Baked over and over again - I first saw one of these more than twenty years ago on the university mainframe.

In any case, this is a "me too" - see the Help file.

But was it built into a cellphone, mp3 player or similar handheld device?

Ah, the “cookie” program, first seen in fortran on a PDP. - good memory Dr. C. This program was ported to *everything* back in the day.

// But was it built into a cellphone, mp3 player or similar handheld device?//

       Not that I know of.

You've been here since April and now just noticed them?

I can only imagine what size an MP3 player would have been twenty years ago.
