I'm sure that at some point we've all verbally abused our computer - whether struggling with Word's autocorrect or racing round Chicago. But has your computer ever replied?
No, that's why I propose this clever enhancement to Voice Recognition software. Whenever your PC detects a swear word yelled
into the microphone, it responds with equal levels of abuse to you via your speakers. With the addition of surround-sound, you could even effectively have virtual arguments with a room-full of virtual people all around you.

I've always loved the idea of snooty computers ... in a less threatening way then say, Hal. |
Like how Windows used to say "apparently an executable file" ... we got a kick out of imagining if said "evidently an executable file, dumbass" ... etc, etc, etc. |

Was that supposed to be funny? |

I'f due to technical reasons - the length of my user name can potentially make a normal task difficult for administrators, could you possibly mean that, perhaps I am somehow taking up too much bandwith allocated to user acount names?? Or perhaps, do you think that in the event that an administrator had to type my user name that he/she may have to spend a few more seconds processing it?. I and we thank you for your interest in my account name, and, funnily enough, I've had no such recommendations to shorten it. Thank you. |

I don't yell at my friends or insult them, and they don't yell at me. Isn't it nice to be nice ? |

Could it be artificial ignorance then? Your computer yelling profanities! |
