It is like a psuedo-science expo; Stuffs that looks like complicated machines are created using trash such as coke can, wires, pipes, turbine blades etc. It will have wires/tubes jumping around, connecting things unnecessarily. Such stuff which looks like machines will be very useful for sci-fi films.
Best looking and most convincing stuff gets the prize.
