I choose you Hackachu!
Ways to abuse Pokemon Go-like apps:
1. Set a location-specific poke-virus-mon that hacks people's credit
card information when they 'capture it,' or do any other sort of
nefarious phone back activities, such as leaving all of your data at
said location for anyone to
grab.
2. Set up live booby traps at hot Pokemon locations.
3. Set specific Pokemon capture-event alarms for targeted victims
whose location you know to be away from their home at that
moment.
4. Put a thousand Pokemon in difficult/restricted areas like the
airspace over Area 51, behind employee-only doors, just over the
edge of the Grand Canyon, and the cranky old neighbor's front yard.
5. Use location-spoofing with GPX to collect all Pokemon
everywhere (and earn a bunch of Fitbit points) and sell them to the
highest bidder.
Some of this is already happening...

Some more...
http://gizmodo.com/...-victims-1783416898 ..like getting mugged. [neutrinos_shadow, Jul 11 2016]
Even more...

Then there's...

Simulated walking

I never thought Xatu was that macho. |

5. Ingress (previous game from Niantic) detects that you
have the "mock locations" setting enabled (or a jailbroken
iPhone or rooted Android phone) and refuses to run. I
assume Pokémon Go is the same way. |

Location hacks can be done on PC then uploaded.

Something's wrong with that link. Did you mean to put in a
URL? |
