Hyper-Velocity Headlights

Traversing Headlights of Deception

Every morning commute, at the same intersection in a secluded and wooded road on the outskirts of a military town of nefarious reputation, a car will pull out in front of me.

This car will undoubtedly hesitate; Lingering momentarily before deciding to pull out, which will cause me to decrease my velocity by an order of magnitude.

It is in this fleeting moment of hesitation, in which the other driver must be gauging my speed and determining that I would be liable for damages should we collide, that I would flip the switch on my Hyper-velocity Headlights.

Once activated, two linear actuators would move my headlights laterally across the rail on which they are mounted, making my vehicle appear to be traveling faster than it is.

In a secure envelove addressed to MikeD interprises, along with full name, SSN, and address. Allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. Purchase will not show up as a single line item, but multiple seemingly unrelated charges.

You could just actually drive faster...

If you moved the headlights upwards and twisted them, it could look like your car has flipped and is hurtling out of control.

I followed what I thought was a car's tail-lights at a safe distance for many miles one night, and was momentarily horrified when the two motorcycles diverged, then crossed. So this idea will work. [+]

"The the memory of Johnny "Shoot-em-right-between-the eyes" Foster, tragically killed one night by two one-eyed tigers walking arm-in-arm." (I am recycling old jokes for the sake of the environment.)
