Hydration Bong

The sports equivalent to waterboarding

When people become dehydrated, they often find it hard to drink enough to replenish their system. In extreme cases, IV fluids are the only option.

Needles are such an unpleasant way to hydrate.

The Hydration Bong is identical to a beer bong except that it is used for rapid hydration. Since dehydration often takes place outdoors, the Hydration Bong is shipped with a 1" thick siphon hose that can be put into any natural water source and deliver massive quantities of water, and the bong's replaceable filter takes out most of the harmful bacteria (not all, because that would make it less fun).

An efficient water deliver system for people who sweat too much and drink too little.

*Caution: The Hydration Bong can deliver 2 gallons of water per minute, which can result in drowning and/or explosive stomach ruptures.

You probably would want to add some salt and sugar to all that water. The lethality and all.

It's usually quite rare that you can get under a natural water source to do siphoning. Unless you dig on the shore. Which won't be fun when you're dehydrated.

       1. The water should be around 100 degrees F, or it will just sit in the stomach while the body wastes it's fleeting energy trying to dump heat into the consumed water before absorption.

       2. Metabolic shock (heat stroke) ((dehydration)) is always accompanied by nausea. Makes it hard to stomach a few thousand milliliters of fluids.

       3. It is much more effective to put that water up the arse. Absorption is much more facilitated in the large intestines.

       4. This isn't an idea. It is taking something that already exists and putting something different in it. I.E. my next idea is (drum roll) a bread box for bread-sized objects that are not bread.

       I like it.
