Hotpoint Recommends The Brain of Gandhi, will be found on a label inside your new washing machine, if you bought a Hotpoint Ganges model. Other machines in the series have been adjusted to recommend different philosophers accordingly, to complete the range.

The Brain of Gandhi is the laundry ball, whose two hemispheres unscrew to reveal a space into which a miniature brain shaped washing powder tablet snugly fits. Each tablet comes with a little quote or thought for the day. For example: "Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well." Mahatma Gandhi

For dark clothes you can choose either The Death Star or the Despot's range, and for coloured items there are Shrunken Zombie Heads with appropriately disease flecked brains. These come with "how to kill a zombie using only water" instructions.

For you I recommend The Shrunken Zombie Head. We used yours as the model.
