Hot Milkshake

There must be some way to make a drink that is thick and delicious like a milkshake but also hot. When it's a cold day and you want something more decadent than a hot chocolate that you can slurp through a straw, the hot milkshake would be totally awesome.

Honestly I have no idea what ingredients would need to be used but I imagine something along the lines of chocolate, milk, and a lot of cornstarch.

       welcome [kindle] if you are new. It's a worthy suggestion, but hardly constitutes an actual idea.... A straw that heats and foams the milk as you use it would be such a device, or does this already exist?

       That's a superb idea! Especially if it encorporates some kind of blue LED system and humming sound to accentuate the *power* of milkshake.

       Yes, soup! Thick vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry soup in a tall glass with a straw!!   

       And xenzag I think my problem with foamed milk is it doesn't have the thickness that I'm going for. Hence the necessity of cornstarch or some other thickening agent.

       Actually this would just be a thinnish custard served warm with a straw.

       Try making hot cocoa, then add ice cream and whipped cream. Shake or blend. (the ice cream won't cool it down completely) hey, this is a recipe.
