Hot melt glue is great for making cardboard models, but I find I'm always holding pieces, waiting minutes for it to solidify. I need an alcohol spray attached to the glue gun. Or some kind of spray. Ether? Not water; I don't want my cardboard to get wet. Something that doesn't dissolve the glue would be nice.

In other words, squeeze some glue. Then another trigger activates the spray which comes out near the glue tip. Probably a pressurized can that clips on the gun, but is linked to the cooling trigger.

How about just a blast of compressed air? With the expansion of release out of a canister, it's very cold.

[CP] That's true, maybe I'll try that first.

Thanks for the links [bristolz]. I tried can of 1,1,1,2 Tetrafluoroethane and that works pretty well. Doesn't wet the cardboard. Can comes with about 0.030 inch ID tube of plastic which is big help in directing spray to hot glue. Now to figure out packaging together with glue gun.

Yeah, both combined into the one neat little package. I like it.
