Hoodpants

As has been noted in these hollowed halls of wisdom, youngsters these days have adopted the unsightly habit of revealing the tops of their underpants above the low waistband of their casual trousers. It appears that the hipness of the young person is proportional to the area of underpant thereby displayed.

We at MaxCo., being keen observers of young people's culture, have also noted the rise of the hooded sweatshirt, or "hoodie", in the modern lingo. It too, apparently, is held in high esteem as a mark of road-credibility.

What better, then, but to combine these two cutting-edge trends into a single garment? MaxCo's latest range of Hoodpants answers this previously unneeded need.

As you may well have inferred by now, Hoodpants are underpants with a rear extension which extends upward from the bottomic region, and ends in a hood which encloses the head. In one fell swoop, the hip youngster can be behooded and, at he same time, display the greatest possible area of underpant. How kewl is that, lolz?

Are we talking a hooded jumpsuit with the ass covering bit removed ?
popbottle, Sep 17 2015

No. We're talking underpants with an extension that runs up the back and over the head.

More of a hoodie wedgie, shirley ?

That particular style of which you speak is SO yesterday!

Will the hood element of this garment incorporate a baseball cap peak at the front, back or at the side of the wearer's head?

       //SO yesterday!//

       Yesterday is the new tomorrow.

We are also developing glovesocks - essentially a large X of material with glove-endings on the upper bits and sock endings on the lower bits.

You can wear one on the front, and one on the back, to create a manwich.

Farmerjohn used to illustrate his schemes like this. He set a pretty high bar. Max, bust out that Fosdick Flop and your drafting pencil and see what you can do.

Ah - would that I were graphically engifted...

Well, if you do better with a sewing machine...

I find trousers sufficiently challenging after a few drinks.
MaxwellBuchanan, Sep 24 2015

"Overwear" would be a highly apt name for such fashion.

[Ian] - the big hole goes at the top.

Assuming you're the right way up when you start, yes.

Take them off *before* you imbibe.
