I was in a hotel over the weekend, the menu was a one sided laminated piece of card numbered with types of dishes available for order.
The food is very good.
The food is described very well which makes it difficult to decide on which dish to order.
On the reverse of this menu there should
be small pictured photographic holograms numbered to correspond to the dish,i can now see my desired dish by holding it under the light.
I know nothing of holograms so i do not know if this would be costly or practical.
Maybe these guys can do it
http://www.litiholo...oducts/products.htm something like this ?. [skinflaps, Oct 05 2004, last modified Oct 17 2004]

Sounds like a grand idea, HHmmm, so thats what my bangers and mash is going to look like. |
|
|
If only you could smell your bangers and mash as well. |
|
|
Hmmm. I'm not sure what bangers and mash are, but I'd be afraid to order anything that was advertised in life-like neon colors. |

Is there something special about food that makes holograms (as opposed to ordinary photos) particularly useful? |
|
|
Otherwise this is 50% "menus should include pictures of the food" (totally baked) and 50% "pictures should be holograms just because holograms are cool" (possible but usually a pointless gimmick). |

Bangers and Mash = Sausage and Potato |

I think thats the point it is a gimmick,i can now look at the dish from different angles and count my fries and peas |
