A pair of trousers has an HF induction coil woven into the seat, which picks up power from a corresponding coil integrated into an office chair. The frequency of operation would be about 5 KHz. The connections from the coil in the trousers run to either a waistband clip or a special pocket with a connector.
If
you clip your cellphone onto the belt clip and sit on a PowerChair, your cellphone (security blanket, lifeline, best buddy) is automatically trickle charged as you work. No cables, no flat batteries.
You could also integrate this into car seats or armchairs.

Excellent idea - you could also have chargers on public transport, for the civic good. Might be more practical as a belt, though, since you will at some point have to put your trousers in the laundry. |

Plan B - how about a piezoelectric trouser seat charger? Recharge your mobile with butt-clenches! The image of an office full of workers squeezing up and relaxing down, amuses me greatly. |

I will ? Never have yet ... |

I can't comment, beyond the fact that I seem to be bleeding profusely from the region of my trouser turnups, and I can't hear myself think for the yowling. |

wouldn't you eventually irradiate your ass? |

Now you too can have a hot ass! |

Great idea, except you'll have to fend off the EM field opponents. There seems to be a large number of them using cell phones... |
