Halfbakery YouTube Channel

Or would we rather just keep these poor things in text form where they belong?

So, we've got benfrost's readings of his ideas on YouTube already, would some halfbakers feel like committing their notions to video? Wouldn't have to have, like, prototypes or anything, necessarily, but one could make more frenetic pitches if desired... it would also be interesting to see halfbakers pitching ideas to People On The Street and getting feedback....

Remulac's Rocket Piston_20Rocket
this is great. [bungston, Mar 20 2009]

Same basic idea, slightly different contents, I guess HB_20_40_20uTube

I think in the future we will see more and more halfbakers putting video on the internet to accompany their ideas.

I would certainly watch this channel.

The only thing I miss here is a link to what you describe. You could easily make this and no halfbaker is obligated to watch or post videos.

Better ask [Jutta]'s permission to use the name first.

I figured [Jutta] would be the one who should set it up/control it...

would I have to wear pants ?

I have tried this and i am completely crap at it. If there's someone on here who's good at making videos, then it makes sense to do it. Nothing's stopping anyone from doing something like that, and for all i know, people actually do.

If you want to tell people about an invention, or show off a prototype, by all means go ahead and do it, just don't call it halfbakery TV. (Linking to the site for further reference/discussion is always fine.) I have zero stage presence or editing ability, and should very much stay out of this.

there was a super super sweet narrated video for a halfbaked idea recently - something with rockets. let me see...
bungston, Mar 20 2009

What about animation? I don't mean CGI, just traditional cell-based stuff, though maybe done on a computer. Oh, and the other thing is, the TV series of 'Genius' starts tonight on Two.
nineteenthly, Mar 20 2009

Another reason for animations. Then again, we could all do Powerpoint presentations about our stuff which go on for hours and hours and hours. That'd also be anonymous.

No that would be a staff meeting.
blissmiss, Mar 21 2009

       That too.
