Every now and then (obviously during my lunch break) I like to check in at the hb to see how the ideas are developing. Even more rarely, someone will peer over my shoulder (from various distances) and say things like "I can't believe how much time you spend on that site".

My plan (sorry Jutta) is to be able to have a couple of skins for the bakery, to make the site look, from a distance, like something else entirely, perhaps the bbc or google or something that we might more legitimately be using.

<shocked look on face> So... you're saying we're wasting our time with an illegitimate site?!? </shocked look>

       Similar to half-baked potato skins?

[Cedar Park] - obviously that's not my opinion, I know that nothing could be more legitimate than the hb, hence my very real need

Try using bookmarklets. You could alter your page style to look like anything you want (or don't want, [link]). Then bookmark your bookmarklet. Whenever you want to view the page differently, simply select your bookmarklet.

more bookmarklets are at second link.

is it possible to do this with RSS?.. I'd like a version of the half bakery that looks like google news.

I reckon we can do what I was hoping for here with a greasemonkey script.. I might have a crack at it.
