Whilst trawling through a Raymond Chandler collection I came across a H Potter character in The Long Goodbye.

Admittedly it's Harlan Potter, but it'd be a stonking film, all them wizards wearing pointy fedoras, double-breasted pinstripe cloaks, flying broomstick with running boards and the rattle of the Chicago wands

Annotation:

And the thick plotens...while I was trying to find a relatively short story by Chandler, at page 4218, there's "The King in Yellow" Link.

It Hastur be some kind of a coincidence. Aha, ha ha ha...ahem.

How about Dennis Potter as director?

A small puzzle is why wizards never came up with a gatling-type wands, surely one wand is good, so six together must be better?
