Google Psychiatrist

Have Google analyze search term input

Google already saves a list of search terms by IP address. I would like to have Google analyze my searches and give me helpful suggestions when it thinks I need them: maybe what you're really looking for is this, a lot of people who started searching for that ended up searching for this...

Also Google only allows 10 words per search. It would be great if I could rant every once in a while and the search engine would analyze my rant and make suggestions or pass the rant along to a live person if I need it.

       I thought this was going to be some sort of google psychiatric diagnosis based on what you've searched for. It could be done. [+]

       <pretending to be google psychiatrist>

       Dear Jezus, you have what we call a Jim Morrison complex. Seek help right away! Do not look at girls! Do not look at newspapers!Do not speak to anyone over the age of six! Invite your friends to G-Mail!

       <done pretending>
zeno, Feb 21 2005

       Thank you Google Psychaitrist, I wasn't having any problems with those first three, but wouldn't you say "Jim Morrison" is putting it a little conservatively?
JesusHChrist, Feb 21 2005

       You searched for "[guncrazy], site:halfbakery.com" ... hmmm interesting. Tell me about your mother.

       They are working on the first paragraph already.

       best you do [ff]. That was *my* joke!.
gnomethang, Feb 21 2005

       I think this calls for a joke-off between friendlyfire and gnome. We can have David Bowie as moderator.

       I thought this idea was going to be about typing in your dreams, OCDs, etc. into a slot, clicking on a button labeled "Diagnose" and Google turning up pages about your mental disorder. Sure would save $500/hr. But JHC's idea's cool, too.

       It could also work like Google calculator, but instead of it doing mathematical stuff there could be a version of Eliza analysing your input.
nineteenthly, Feb 22 2005

       Would you like to talk more about it doing mathematical stuff?
reensure, Feb 22 2005

       I thought psychiatry was obsolete, now that we have blogs.
Worldgineer, Feb 22 2005

       [reensure], if you type an arithmetical expression into Google, it will tell you its value. The same is true of measurement units. There's also a rather obvious Easter egg based on a certain well-known work of comedy SF.
nineteenthly, Feb 22 2005

       [World], do you see the point of blogs? They don't interest me in the least... some random person spouting about their life and dozens of bored people adoring them for it. I've got better things to do myself. (k_sra excepted of course)

       Google already does this with regard to spelling: "Did you mean?" This has saved me on numerous occassions.
