Glowing toilet water

This is probably my most ingenious idea. Glowing water that fills the toilet. Kinda like 2000 flushes, but instead, a chemical reaction that makes the water in the toilet glow. Glow-in-the-dark is what I mean to say. I think it would be cool for kids who use the bathroom in the middle of the night. Men who just can't seem to hit the toilet bowl. My ex-wife thought I was crazy. I have all the logistics worked out, down to the chemicals needed. They are all non-toxic and biodegradeable. I haven't figured out whether to do it in cake or separate chemical form though. Any ideas?

Spiff. Offering just one color, or are you going to implement cool blue and red as well as the usual yellow/yellow-green?

Well this could make toilet training much better or much worse.

It might look cool, but I don't think it'll fix anything. The idea that men who miss the bowl do so because there isn't glowing water in it is fallacious. We miss because 1) the light's off, 2) we're drunk or 3) we don't care. Urinating onto glowing water in the dark is unlikely to improve anyone's aim, and if the user's drunk, all bets are off.

We should just turn on the light, be careful or sit down.

I think there's a black light bathroom idea somewhere on the .5B; something along the lines of UnaBubba's annotation...

When you pee in the ocean, off the side of a boat, the water flouresces due to boiorganisms. Perhaps these could be bred for home use?

Public swimming pools in Europe and in some hotels have a chemical that reacts with piss and turns purple so you can see if someone's relieving themselves in the pool. You could produce this stuff and sell it like those blocks that you put in the cistern.

       No they don't. See (link).
