Glow Lamp
Lampshade of glow-in-the-dark plastic | |
Works like a straight-up lamp on a table, dresser drawer, or floor. Classic lines, no suprise. Only when you turn it off you're left with a faintly glowing 'ghost', the lampshade, to light your way long enough to the door, to bed, or similarly around the darkened room.

I have a glow-in-the-dark lobster on the nightstand next to my bed....my sweetie and I use it find each other for kisses on silly nights.....but I don't think the lobster has ever been baked. I usually pressure cook mine when I'm lucky enough to catch some. |

Also useful for temporary lighting if a bulb burns out unexpectedly or power failures. Should be mandatory for all hallways, public or private. |

Funny thing - as a result of the above post I was contacted several years ago by a woman who had tried to find a glow-in-the-dark lobster for her husband as part of some running joke they had. |

She'd been around the web and not found anything suitable. She wanted to know if she could buy mine. At the time I couldn't find it but I saved her email and a year later, when it turned up, I sent it to her. I wonder how that all turned out. |
