Quite simply, people who don't want to vote will get
paid to
not attend the voting booth. :D
Thus helping reward political apathy, an in theory ensure
that the only people who vote are passionate.

Then again, the kinds of people who would actively vote...
are the kinds of people who think they know what's best for
the country. E.g. people voting because of ideology, or
moral issues. |

more you know less. |

Seeing as you have a pay to vote and getting paid not to vote, the net balance is zero. |
