When I am playing a computer game in which sounds are associated with my actions, and I am listening to music, the actions sound like part of the song, so are there computer games that listen to their environment and quantized their sounds to the background music so that whatever action you take the music fits harmonically with the background?

Recently baked. It's called Child of Eden (Xbox 360 Kinect), and despite being just a very complex psychadelic 3D brick-breaker, it is one of the most mind-blowing games I've ever played. The techno-acid-house score is fully integrated into the game mechanics, both punctuating your actions and providing cues to non-preset developments.

This is a very old idea and has been done many times. Banjo-Kazooie (1998) had a lot of it, but it was usually subtle enough that you didn't notice.
