Lets ignore Mars & go for Titan, a little more gravity than the
Moon & (density wise) a lot more atmosphere than Earth.
Looks a lot easier to work with than anywhere else in the
solar
system.
Surface gravity = 1.352 m/s2 (0.138 g)
Surface pressure (atmosphere) = 146.7 kPa (1.45 atm)
Temperature
-179.5 °C.
The atmosphere includes 97% Nitrogen (N) & 0.1% Hydrogen
(H)
with trace amounts of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) & Carbon
Monoxide
(CO) & the surface is mostly made of water ice (H2O).
Basically all the elements we need to work with for breathable
air, water (H2O) & to grow plants (Oxygen, Carbon, Nitrogen
etc) are
there in abundance.
The temperature may be a little chilly but it's
not like
Mars (mean temperature of -63 °C falling as low as -143 °C) is
particularly warm & balmy either.
Overall, Titan clearly wins hands
down.

My favorite Huygens descent visualization
https://www.youtube...watch?v=QbmcoL3OqPk Coincidentally the same length as the above video (or maybe not, because they were animated by the same person). No narration, just the music of the pictures being taken, along with visualization of the same, plus dashboard and schematic animation of EDL. [notexactly, Sep 26 2019]

//Temperature -179.5 °C// You're gonna need a bigger coat. |
|
|
We were planning on taking plenty of loft insulation, &
spending most of our time indoors. |
|
|
Will there not be concerns about Global Warming ? |
|
|
Like, "It's bloody parky, how can we heat this place up really quickly ? " |

With all that Nitrogen lying around I'm sure you have a few
suggestions [8th]. |
|
|
Deuterium and Lithium would be more useful. |
|
|
But if you can't be with the one you love.. |
|
|
Quantity can do a good impression of quality in a pinch..
sometimes, in the right light, if you don't look at it
too closely.. just don't go to Specsavers OK. |
|
|
Mao Zedong is quoted as saying "Quantity has a quality all of its own", although he said it in Chinese so it may have been something completely different ... |
|
|
Maybe we can plan it all out with Kerbal Space
Program 2... |
|
|
+ because, space colonization idea. |

Does its orbit carry it into the shadow of Saturn? |

//Does its orbit carry it into the shadow of Saturn?// |
|
|
Probably, but it's a 16 day orbit & the shadow cone is pretty
thin at the edge of the rings (where Titan orbits) so any time
spent in the shadow of Saturn will pretty much just be a long
night. |
