I assume it would be red, not white. But I like it. Welcome, [matt]. |
I sounds like a good idea. I hope it would not be TOO distracting. figuring that the flashing light may catch the eye of more than just the guy behind you. |
p.s. do the epileptic people where you live have a problem with the flashing white light on your stop lights? Would this cause that sort of problem? |
From what I know epileptic seisures can be caused by simple flashing light in extreme cases, but it usually takes quickly flashing, multi-color lights or patterns to just outright cause a seisure. And aren't their clinical stipulations for driving lisences that pertain to seisure-prone folk? |

hmmm, you may be right.....i know that they can can be just flashing white lights...but i think you are right about not being able to get a license if you have that severe of a case. |

I always pump the pedal a couple of times when it seems I may be stopping too short for the guy behind me + |
How long would it take before people stopped looking at flashing lights in front of them? |
[babyhawk], my first title for this was "seziure lights"- that was the first thing i thought of when i saw the stop light, that it could give someone a problem |

[Worldgineer], not sure what you're referring to as being red, not white. if you mean the actual part I am introducing, it's white. Picture a red square brake light with a small bar in the middle that blinks a very bright white |

does anyone else have these stop lights? i think all new intersections in New Hampshire have them, and i've seen a few in Pennsylvania... |
We have some in New York, but I thought the light was taking pictures of cars in order to ticket them. |
Nothing like temporarily blinding the guy behind you when you come to a sudden stop. |
I've seen brake lights on some industrial trucks that strobe once very brightly before staying on. |
