A small oral dose of endogenous pyrogen or interleukin 1, which circulates to the brain where it raises the body’s temperature set point via the production of prostaglandin. The resulting low-grade fever increases heart rate, speeds up the metabolism and suppresses appetite, resulting in rapid weight
loss. Once the desired weight has been achieved, simply curtail the Fever Diet.
Caution: Drink plenty of fluids while on the Fever Diet. Do not take aspirin or other fever reducing medications while on the Fever Diet. It's easier to just get a dose of
diahrhoheahh (sp?) - you can pick viral,
bacterial, amoebic or multicellulr-
parasite-of-the-day versions depending
on the amount of weight you need to lose.
Your treatment sounds like it'd make you
feel generally lousy; I'd sooner it were
only my GI tract that bore the brunt. |

My best diet technique is to keep my metabolism up with frequent light exercise and to drink plenty of water. My usual fever regimen is to lie in bed and whimper. |
