Fencing Post Roomba

roomba that installs random fence posts

Put Fencing Post Roomba in the middle of a field and leave it there for an hour. It will rove around randomly making holes and installing fence posts from its storage magazine.

On "sensible mode" it will only do this along the perimeter edge of the field, but who needs sensible when you can end up with a field covered with a random pattern of sprouting fence posts looking like a porcupine that's taken an acid tab?

Its companion machine will follow up by randomly attaching lines of coloured string to the uprights and generate a large string and post composition.

Ultra mad version installs high voltage electric pylons.

       Can it be used indoors?

With a few adjustments, I see no reason why it can't be switched over to Basketball Post mode, or Indoor Golf variation. As long as you don't mind random holes being dug then uprights of one kind or another being installed.

I was sure this was going to be two Roombas Fencing. Very disappointed in you, xennie. (With vacuum hoses for swords, naturally.) Fencing Rhoombas Post is what I read.

Fencing roombas, that destroy each other, is already baked by artist Mark Pauline. (see Re– Search, Industrial Culture Handbook) So sorry I disappoint you.

//I was sure this was going to be two Roombas Fencing// I thought this was going to be about "fencing, post-Roomba" - i.e. sword-fighting in the dystopian future after the rise and fall of the Roomba civilisation

Can there be a version that digs trenches, fills sandbags, puts in screw-stakes and rolls out razor wire ... ?

For your garden..... anything is possible, or perhaps you want the posts and wire for your living room?
xenzag, Sep 24 2020

No, all round the local schools - mid-morning, once all the vermin are contained inside.
