Faunal Clock

Lets see... The mongoose is awake, and the philipino tortoise is asleep, so it's five o'clock

24 animals put into a circular pen (large) that is sectioned into 24 parts. Each animal is chosen for its specific sleeping habits. They all fall asleep and wake up at different times during the day, so you can tell (vaguely) what time it is.

Think floral clock with fauna.

Though it would take some research to find the right animals.

Huh! just like my first cup of coffee tells me it's 7am and my last glass of wine tells me it's 11pm!

flowers might be accurate. I think animals are either awake (mainly) during the night or the day.

I keep reading this as Faneuil Clock. Must be a local thing.

       What/who is Faneuil?

       Very weird and extremely halfbaked.

Can I get the wristwatch model that roars, growls, purrs, burps, and snores it's way through the hours ?

You know, it's funny. That's the third time I've come across the name Olduvai in 3 days. Before then, I'd never heard of it.

That’s the place [DF]. The clock that can be seen across the market from the hall is often referred to as Faneuil Clock Tower, even though it’s not at the hall, or even in the marketplace. <link>
