Eye of Sauron Camera

This appears to be similar to an ordinary security camera. The only non-aesthetic difference being that it is motion tracking.

However the most noticeable difference is that, where the lens should be, there is a screen with the image of the Eye of Sauron following intruders around the room (The image would only be visible from the point of view of someone looking at the camera, it would still be recording normally).

It may be 2 years too late to cash in on the big merchandising craze. But I'm sure that there could be a market for this product, for die-hard Tolkien fans, or for companies that want their security measures to look somewhat creepy.

I think anyway. It isn't actually mentioned whether or not it's actually a camera. [hidden truths, Dec 01 2005]

I think flaming plasma between horned pillars is much more effective. [DrCurry, Dec 01 2005]

What [wags] said - enough of this false modesty, [HT]!

Honestly though, as an illustration, it may not be as bad as some of my other offerings, but it's all just a bit of playing with MS Paint. Not exactly [bristolz] quality stuff.

[MB] It took you two and a half years to find an idea worthy of this little joke. For your persistence, you are fourrrrrgiven.
