Elf-Extinguishing Candle looks like a conventional candle, but is actually composed of dynamite or some other explosive material, so it's guaranteed to extinguish all elfs in the immediate vicinity.

       <pedantry>

       While the term "dynamite" is still in common usage, in reality the greatest proportion of commercial blasting explosives are a composition known as "blasting gelatin". "Dynamite" is a tradename for a chemically very specific product, as patented by Alfred Nobel.

       Other prepackaged insensetive commercial secondary explosives, such as thickened ANFO, are also referred to by the badly educated, the careless, the intentionally ignorant and the ill-informed (i.e. journalists) as "dynamite". This is in fact entirely wrong.*

       [+] for the irresponsible and irrationally dangerous use of explosives.

       *The remedy is of course to educate journalists by placing them immediately adjacent to substantial explosive charges, telling them, "Now, this Trinitrocyclamine, a polynitrated cyclic amine, generally referred to as RDX. Watch and learn". Then retreat to a safe distance** and initiate the primary remotely.

       ** "safe" distance in this context can be quite variable.
