There doesn't appear to be any type of wristwatch for ladies with an alarm except for the huge ugly digital sport watches out there (and large swiss army watches). I think someone should make a small nice-looking watch (that you might wear to work or out to dinner) that has an alarm. It can't be that difficult to do! Even if it has to be digital, it could be a SMALL digital face that looks like jewelery instead of like a VCR.

Look at the A24USL - elegant, compact, would coordinate with evening wear - it has an alarm *and* it's waterproof to 150' [hippo, Feb 20 2002, last modified Oct 04 2004]

I did a search and couldn't find one. Maybe they assume that ladies wearing elegant dress watches are supposed to be dancing in the moonlight and not worried about the time.

you dancing in the moonlight or squishing on the tube.

[Krate] I'd feel at home wearing that at a party on the space shuttle.

maybe elegant ladies don't want to be rescued, they are supplied with other hidden devices to save them. Rings with lazer killing beams, watches that garrotte their assassin, but I have seen too many 'Bond' films - what do I know. Good idea.

I thought this was an wristwatch alarm that let me know that there were elegant ladies around. Funny, doesn't seem to be doing anything right now.... maybe the battery's dead?

There haven't been any elegant ladies since about 1920.

Thanks to everyone for the links. I had almost bought the Skagen a while ago, but first I phoned them and found out the measurements...and that watch face is quite large. Would look great about 1/2 the size. The other suggestions are better than what I'd seen (tho the $$ Patek doesn't actually have an alarm), but they're all still clunkier than a dress watch. I don't want to start up a business, but won't someone out there please do it?
