Electromagnetic Beard
An iron filing beard controlled by series of microprocessor controlled electromagnets | |
A series of small electromagnets are wired in to the face under the skin in the "beardage" area.....the user then dips their face in a bowl of iron filings creating a beard...a microprocessor connected to the frontal lobe of the brain allows you to think of a beard and/or moustache and the electromagnets
under the skin are appropriately turned on or off to configure the beard to the users requirements....this can later be developed so that an external power source is not required....the electro-beard would have applications primarily in espionage where rapid change of appearance is of great benefit....it could also be used to create "fashion-beards" such as those found on the box of wahl clippers.

Would rastarization mean that the beard must be long and dreadlocked? My fevered brain envisions readymade custom appendages, hensile and prehensile, adorning the face and other electromagnetically charged regions. In fact there would be no need for clothes with this scheme. One could coat the iron filing with colored enamel for additional fashionability, and to prevent rust when you get sweaty. |
