I have to get up around 7 am to get to work on time, usually I end up waking up sometime around 9. Self-discipline just doesn't work for, I can ignore anytime of alarm clock, I'm just one of those nocturnal people. So for people like me, I propose, an alarm clock, that comes with a little metal net
placed under the sheets, it will send an non-lethal dose of electrocution shot if you stay in bed after a 60 second countdown warning from the alarm clock. Knowing that most people dont like to be electrocuted there would be enough motivation to get up, personally I will always get up a few seconds before the countdown is over, cause every second counts. Also the clock should continue to electocute for the next hour, so one wouldnt go back to sleep after to mins. The worst scenario I could envision here, is if you got a one night stand, and she doesn't know about the alarm clock yet.

//This account was destroyed in a disk crash in October 2004 // electrocuted? |

I keep my alarm clock on the ledge 10ft from my bed. I have to get up to turn it off and that way the fillings in my teeth do not zzzzzzzzzzzz. |

My alarm is also far away, but I dont let it bother me, I just continue sleeping with the noise on. |

I'm pretty sure I saw that in a movie once. |

There was once a similar idea like this
that was deleted, called disaplinens. |

Note the similarity between the words 'execute' and 'electrocute.' This is by design, because electrocute means to kill with electricity. That's right, death must occur. The word you need is shock, or maybe you could get by with electroshock. |

"I can ignore any type of alarm clock"...
I promise you, that's not true. You've just not heard an alarm clock like my wife's. |

I'll try harder next time... suffering from a lack of sleep at the moment. |

[swamilad] At first I thought how truly evil, effective, and ingenious this idea is, but now I'm not so sure:) |
