El Kabong
(formerly Learning Disability Cane) | |
People with learning disabilities are in a similar boat as
those with
low vision. A white cane provides an opportunity to
promote
disability awareness as well as being useful for
navigation. There
should be a variation of a white cane that assists and
provides the
opportunity to start
the disability awareness conversation
to people
with learning disabilities...
...and to hit people with.

If there's one thing that I've learned here at the halfbakery, it's that unless you provide the specifics of the idea then it verges on a "let's all". |

The white cane with the red tip is already taken, and the cane serves the purpose of helping the user sense the terrain. |
Why would somebody with a learning disability want to carry a cane ? |
is it to hit people with learning disabilities, with ? |
no for people with learning disabilities to hit people with no
learning disabilities with . |
Maybe big heavy sticks, and big angry bitey dogs ... |
When did all mental disabilities become learning
disabilities? |
//"ability" was no longer regarded as a measure of
ability.// |

Ah, but, [LimpNotes], that problem was solved by the
invention of the box and, soon thereafter, the tick. |
