own up, stu. you have lost the pieces - haven't you? |

I thought about uncooked spaghetti, but it wouldn't be as nice to eat. The game would just have to be larger than usual to allow breadsticks to be used. |
Ah, *bread*sticks! When I first read this I thought you meant French sticks and I was bemused, to say the least. |
salachair, you're thinking about Fun Pub-size Edible Kerplunk, with grapefruit and french sticks. |
Well, if you're talking on that large a scale, then I'd suggest using some sort of sausage. Or perhaps carrots. |

breadsticks & small fried cambert cheeses falling into a cranberry sauce when they drop.
really large chips (fries) & small picked onions, landing in a bar-b-q sauce when they fall.
finally, malteasers & chocolate fingers, falling into a caramel/butterscotch sauce.
hard cheeses & grapes, with crackers an optional 4th course. |

I think I might bake this the next time I have people round for dinner. [mymus] I really like the 'falling into a dip' touch. |

stupop, curry dips buckaroo another (messy) classic. |

Fondue sticks and dip-able food? Put the lot over a fondue pot and dig in when someone spills.... |
You don't want to know what I was thinking when I first read the title... |
I seem to have lost my marbles... |

this must be a british game? i had to look it up, but after
doing so i saw that it would work perfectly with those
very thin, crispy breadsticks served at italian restaurants.
would look quite fetching with pimento-stuffed green
olives. |

I don't think it's British just old. I remember teh commercials for it running during Saturday morning cartoons. My frreind had the game it's fun. But who get to eat it the loser or the winner? I think uncooked fried foods falling, and splashing into hot oil would make the game a lot more interesting. Hmm maybe just something falling into hot chese for the kiddies. |
